Bullets that you sowed

Snuffed out like a candle,
Amidst a rain of hate,
Massacred innocence,
Scripts a tale of fate,
Fate you blindly nurtured,
Hate allowed to grow,
Pierced by the bullets,
Bullets that you sowed,
Hurled into the abyss,
Your future bleeding dead,
Poisoned by the venom,
Of the snakes you bred,
Will this mark the end?
Or will darkness remain?
Will you drop the knife?
Or will hatred reign?
Will you finally cleanse?
And let enmity erode?
Weed out all the bombs,
And bullets that you sowed.

STOP ATTACKING OUR FESTIVALS

Disclaimer: This poem is in no way an attempt to create divide between any two religions, communities or people. The whole poem is just an appeal for the Hindus to unite, introspect and change what ails our glorious heritage. It is an appeal to shun the pseudo-secularism but at the same time maintain religious harmony without losing self-respect. It is an appeal to get rid of the self-appointed guardians of religion, to reinstate the status of women as equals as mentioned in our Vedas, to look within and reinstate the pride of our religion, our culture and our rivers. It is a request to all Hindus to follow the doctrine of karma and dharma and not indulge in mere show of religious symbolism for sake of religion. In spite of all said and done if you still indulge in polluting our rivers, if you still believe that mere fasting for 9 days a year can rid you of all your sins, if you still stay a slave to fake babas and godmen, then you are not even an Indian, let alone being a Hindu.

BE A PROUD HINDU AND NOT A BIGOTED ONE, AND DEFINETLY NOT A PSEUDO-SECULAR LIBTARD.

प्राण(a tribute to a great man)

My pen, My sword, My ink, My blood

Every injustice shall make my words bleed,
Every visual shall plant a poem's seed,
In this world where ink is for sale,
I shall be the pen, the truth needs.

Unperturbed by the power of lies,
I shall let the truth free to fly,
Even if they deny me of ink,
My blood will write, till I die.

I wield my pen like a sword,
Mightier than the metal cold,
I will resist, I may perish,

My life is a price, truth can afford.

Road to resurrection

Somewhere along the way,
On the path I had taken,
I dropped all my desires,
All dreams were forsaken,
I wandered; mind squandered,
And time was victimized,
A jolt was what I needed,
As hope within me died,
But now that I have awakened,
Must delve into introspection,
I step out of my mirages,
Onto the road of resurrection.

Clouds Tell Me a Story

You see out the window
and you see sky
I peer out the window
and I spot heaven
you feel bored and tired
you shut your eyes
my soul seeks the pleasure
the child within is craving
you spot the clouds beneath
your mind doesn't bother
I lust for cotton candy
imagination raining

Let it rain

Let it rain,
O clouds! I am parched,
You shadow my sky,
I stand crumpled and starched,
I gaze at thee,
My lips wrinkled and chapped,
It has been a while,
I have showered and clapped,
Why do you mock?
This thirsty skin I wear,
You roar and laugh,
As I try to save my tears,
Where were you gone?
It has been too long, I’ve smiled,
Let it rain,
In your wait dreams have died,
Let it rain,
The wells, the ponds are frying,
The land is grieving helpless,
As the baby crops are dying,
Let it rain,
O clouds! Only you we trust,
The life is dry and wrinkled,
As our masters scrape our crust.

In search of mythical bliss

Living life in doses,
Smiling but in parts,
Chasing a shadow,
Reaching for the stars,
Missing out on moments,
Which define our breathing,
In search of something,
Where are we speeding?
Going round in circles,
Never reaching end,
Racing towards nothing,
Till death makes us bend.

Eating; not tasting,
Mind so preoccupied,
Burning midnight oil,
Even the darkness cried,
Measuring our success,
In terms of printed paper,
Following mirages,
While life begins to taper,
Setting out to conquer,
What doesn’t even exist,
We all are just racing,
In search of mythical bliss.
