Why this Hypocrisy??

I sin, I suffer,
You sin, you suffer,
Isn’t that how law works?
Aren’t we all the same?
But then why is one innocent,
Just cause of one’s fame.

Why do these sheep rally?
Why the outrage in air?
Did you not break a law?
Did you not cross the line?
So why they cry unfair?
When law slaps you a fine.

They cite your philanthropy,
They pray you be let free,
They jump in to defend,
Using your kids as shield,
But for them who died that day,
Did hearts their ever bleed?

So why this hypocrisy?
By those who cry for change,
If one of brother falls,
Why ‘country first’ is asleep,
And many died that day,
For whom none of you weep.

Hyena and jackals

Welcome hyena,
Welcome to our land,
Do you bring our head?
Or just your poisonous fangs?

They say you are here,
To pray for your personal goals,
While we stand on border,
Your teeth riddle us with holes.

We watch in sheer agony,
As you are welcomed here,
We still wait for justice,
As you mock our blood and tears.

But stand, we helpless,
No one to hear our call,
Hyena is welcomed,
By our very own jackals.

Is she not human?

Standing in a corner, she had a passing thought,
Is this all what I have been made for?
As I stand every night, to be picked by a stranger,
Every night, my body, my character is torn.

Every night I go, deeper into the mud,
Every night I am laid, nude and bare,
Every night I am, labeled as a shame,
Why doesn’t the world stop to care?

Why every year, girls like me suffer?
Why no one bothers to look into the causes?
Why girls like me walk down this dirty road?
Why do they think of only character losses?

No girl in this world wants to sell herself,
No girl wants to sleep with strangers in night,
Every girl wants to live this life with dignity,
Every girl wants to live the way that is right.

A car stops by, a devil peeps out smiling,
As she opens the door, to sit by his side,
Standing in that corner, she realized,
This world will never try, to see the light.

Human Scavengers

I carry it on my head,
I smell of what you all shed,
I clean your house, clean your place,
And yet you look at me with disgrace.

I see your dogs feed on nuts,
As I pick what drops out of your butts,
I smell of what you won’t smell,
But it’s you, who dropped this hell,
I am the one, who cleans up your loo,
And yet you think I am beneath you.

We are called human scavengers,
But it is us, who are scavenged upon,
For a penny we lift the stuff,
Stuff in which death will spawn.

Nowhere in world do we survive,
But India is where you see us live,
No matter what the world may say,
Our leaders sleep as we clean their shit, everyday.
